In Our Neighborhood
The spirit of this neighborhood church is imbedded in our community.
Birchwood Community Gardens
LCR provides Community Gardens for our neighbors – inspiration for their spirits as well as nourishing food for their bodies. As caretakers of God’s Whole Creation, we strive to nurture the earth and all living things on it, including the individuals that surround us. More...
Youth Gardening Program
The Birchwood Community Gardens’ Youth Gardening Program joins volunteer mentors with small groups of kids to help plant, care for, harvest and cook various vegetables. The program aims to foster a connection to the earth and our community, build self-esteem and teambuilding skills, and be lots of fun! This program is open to anyone in the community. (Please have an adult accompany children under 5.) We will meet Saturday mornings beginning in April, rain or shine (indoors if raining). Fee is $15 for the season, but no one will be turned away due to an inability to pay. If interested, please contact Danielle Fehring through the church office at office@reformationslp.org or at 952-929-0439.
Habitat for the Arts—Art Gallery Space
LCR supports local artists with gallery and reception space, with Friends of the Arts in St. Louis Park. Its mission is "to promote the growth and awareness of the arts in all their facets, and to contribute to the development of a vital and creative artistic space."
St. Louis Park Emergency Program (STEP)
We proudly support our neighbors in need through our community’s caretaker, STEP.
Collaboration with Upper Room
We’ve opened our doors and are sharing our space with the Upper Room community, to make the most of the resources we have to offer and experience all the unanticipated blessings that come from the collaboration of two groups.
